Autistic Adults Meetup
The autistic adults meetup is a safe place to meet others on the spectrum. Everyone on the spectrum is welcome, regardless of diagnosis or support needs. If you were diagnosed as a child or you are just exploring whether you might be on the spectrum, join us for socializing and peer support. No one is too autistic or not autistic enough to be part of our group. All are welcome.

Our meetup is autistic led, although we do sometimes have neurotypical co-facilitators and guest speakers.
We understand that it is difficult for some people to actively participate for a variety of reasons. Please know that your presence in the room is considered participation and no one is obligated to speak against their will. Some people come and share right away while others have not said a word other than their name for their first three sessions before joining the discussion.
If you are nonverbal or less verbal, portions of the meeting will be “silent” discussion. During this time, you will have an opportunity to share your thoughts in writing before we begin the verbal discussion.
If you need additional support, please let us know in advance. We will do everything we can to support you at our meetings. If you prefer to bring a helper or friend to support you during the meeting, that is also fine.
